Featured Products

When you use categories to organize products in the store, they are presented in a fairly standard layout: In rectangles with basic product information, such as the product name, and sometimes small icons. These rectangles are stacked on pages and in carousels. Service Design Center also allows you to feature products.

Featured products have several characteristics that make them appear differently from the standard store displays:

If more than one product is featured at the same location, then each banner will rotate in the order defined in the category.

Here's an example of a layout with two banners at the top of a page in the middle of a transition:

When products are featured in the self-care app outside the store, they are displayed within layout components. Layout components are defined by the team that customizes the ItsOn self-care app, within what some call the branding framework. Each layout component has a unique identifier. You will need that identifier when you want to create the featured product in Service Design Center.
