Modify Retail Coupon Inventory
For a universal type of retail coupon product only, you can change the number of coupons you're offering for a specific retail coupon product. You might want to increase the number of coupons you make available to your customers if a particular coupon promotion was successful and you and your retail partner want to continue/expand it, or you might want to decrease the number of coupons you make available to your customers because a particular coupon promotion did not gain the traction you were hoping and you want to phase one coupon out and implement a different one.
- Go to eCommerce > Catalog & Notifications.
- Go to Catalog > Manage Inventory.
- Click the name of a Retail Coupon product to select it.
- Click Modify Inventory.
- In the Inventory list, click the Retail Coupon item.
- Click Edit.
- In the Quantity Available Change field, enter a positive or negative integer that represents how much you want the available inventory to change.
- To increase inventory, enter a positive integer, which represents how many coupons will be added to the existing inventory. For example, to increase inventory by 1000, enter 1000.
- To decrease existing inventory, enter a negative integer, which represents how many coupons will be subtracted from the existing inventory. However, you cannot subtract more than the quantity currently available. For example, if the available inventory is 1000 and you want to reduce it by 500, you would enter -500. But you would get an error if you tried to enter any number less than -1000, such as -1005.
- Click Save.
- Click Save.
The quantity of available coupons is updated immediately.
